"Och jag var framme strax före 15 precis innan våra två gäster från Maryland kom gående från stationen: Brannon Wheeler, professor vid Department of History, United States Naval Academy i Maryland och hans forskarfru Deborah.

De båda hade tagit tåget från Stockholm och var nyfikna på arkivet – och efteråt mycket imponerade av det de fått se under den rundvandring som Anders Liljegren och jag bjöd på. I gästboken efteråt radades de positiva omdömena upp och Brannon konstaterade att han måste komma tillbaka för ett längre besök. Att säga att de blev entusiastiska är att uttrycka sig milt.

Vi hann som vanligt bara visa en bråkdel men det räcker långt för de som besöker oss. När paret var tvunget att gå till tåget igen satt jag kvar med Anders en stund"
